Pumpkins!

Staying with my sister and her family was so so so much fun. We took a day to go to the local pumpkin farm. The boys had fun seeing all the animals, and picking out their pumpkins for Halloween.

Both boys were awed by the horses

They liked seeing this goat too.

Trying to take a picture with the guinea hens and roosters, but Benji was dancing around, and Gid was distracted by the pigs...funny!

We finally made our way over to the pumpkins, and those boys had so much fun running around trying to find the perfect ones to take home.

Later, we had fun carving them. The boys were so excited to help.

At first he was afraid to reach into the pumpkin and pull out the guts, but by the time the carving was done, the goopy mass was a hit. It was fun trying to recruit help from the little guy to separate out the seeds.

Finished projects (night of...cause by the next morning they were a little broken and covered in soy sauce...which makes perfect sense...if you're a 2 year old!)

Happy Halloween!

The Elusive Picture-of-all

Grandma Marty is dying for a good picture of all three of her grandbabies together. The problem is all of her grandbabies are young boys... Mally and I are wondering how the heck we're going to pull off getting "a well composed shot" ;)

Here are our options:

Hey, all the boys are in this one...

Action pic, blowing bubbles. Cute.. if you ignore my presence with weird undried hair

Sad Silas
 and distracted Gideon

At least my hair is done in this one...

 Everyone is happy here!
if only there were a way to photoshop out Mallory. She's cute but not one of Marty's grandbabies...

I don't think this counts as composed

Goldilocks and her three bears is just right! Cute pic Grandma Marty!!

We finally busted out the bumbo so Si can sit up with the big boys, and here is what we got-

And, finally (drumroll please....)

We Love you Grandma Marty and Papa Mike!!!

Sisters!

As I've been globe-trotting, I keep getting reminders of the important things in life. I love my sisters - the ones I grew up with and the ones I acquired. :D I'm keeping my eyes peeled for more of my family along my trail.
