The Elusive Picture-of-all

Grandma Marty is dying for a good picture of all three of her grandbabies together. The problem is all of her grandbabies are young boys... Mally and I are wondering how the heck we're going to pull off getting "a well composed shot" ;) 

Here are our options:

We finally busted out the bumbo so Si can sit up with the big boys, and here is what we got-

Sisters!

As I've been globe-trotting, I keep getting reminders of the important things in life. I love my sisters - the ones I grew up with and the ones I acquired. :D I'm keeping my eyes peeled for more of my family along my trail.

Visiting the Thalman's- Charlotte

The next stop on Silas' and my road trip was my sister's place in North Carolina. One of our first outings was the beginning of October---out to the Charlotte Renaissance Faire. We dressed up for the day and had so much fun!!!!

We had to pass through Sherwood Forest to get into the faire

There were a lot of performers that were so fun to see like:

this woodland harpist

 the royal family

then later the royal procession

a lady on stilts... 

who happened to be part of this acrobat troupe we watched

an Ent...

 a marionette puppy (he even jumped in our empty stroller)

a random top-hat dude with fans...on a big ball

period music- pipes and percussion 

The sword swallower was amazing!

You could pay to throw tomatoes at the guy shouting insults...we didn't try though. 

Scotty and Mallory looked so great in their costumes.

 We played so hard that all three boys passed out on the short ride home.
